King Cake Baby
King Cake Baby is a band with a mission: to bring a little of that rolling, tumbling, bouncing and rollicking New Orleans rhythm and blues music to Tokyo audiences. Their repertoire features standards and favorites made famous by New Orleans music legends such as Dr. John, James Booker, Professor Longhair, the Meters, Huey "Piano" Smith and others, plus adaptations of Mardi Gras Indian tunes by troupes such as the Wild Tchoupitoulas and Wild Magnolias. Not to mention their own original music with a distinctly New Orleans flavor. You just can't help but get with it!
