It's Saturday Nite Live!
Mamonaku
18:30 - 21:00, May 30, 2026

Gritty rock and soul performed with passion and energy to get your heart pulsing and feet moving. Hailing from downtown Yokohama, Mamonaku are the multinational, quasi-cultural, barely lingual four-piece at the forefront of the Honmoku AOR scene delivering originals and classics in electric and acoustic sets.

Starring:
Rich Freeman (guitar / backing vocals)
Aminiasi (Mini) Momo (drums / vocals)
Stephen Martin (vocals / guitar)
Huw Evans (bass / backing vocals)

Mamonaku’s original songs range from hard-edged, grungy rockers to tender, soulful ballads with poignant and doleful lyrics. The band also functions as the pub jukebox, spanning seven decades of popular hits and alternative music choice cuts. The band’s powerful yet charismatic vocals are backed by a tight rhythm section, flying guitar solos and, by the end of the night, the audience singing along.
