New Yorker Kayo Hiraki's Jazz Trio of Piano, Vocals, Bass & Drums

Kayo Hiraki is an acclaimed pianist, vocalist and Steinway Artist based in New York City. A former Grammy voting member, she is one of the few Japanese jazz artists to become a mainstay of the competitive New York City jazz scene.
After graduating from Kunitachi College of Music in Japan, she built a career there as a composer, arranger and performer before moving to New York City. Based in New York, she has released six CDs featuring her distinctive interpretations of jazz standards and original works, with release parties at renowned venues such as the Blue Note New York.
She performed for more than three decades at Arturo’s in Greenwich Village, often five nights a week in a swinging trio, and has appeared at many other New York clubs. She also participates in the music production Concert in Motion. She is invited to give an annual guest lecture at Kunitachi College of Music and her concerts and workshops have reached audiences internationally including Asia and Europe.
