Three former top stars of the Takarazuka and a veteran actress will portray the four incredible Makioka sisters in the Senba District of Osaka during 1930's when the Japan-China war brought about the decline of ancient regime merchant families including the Makioka Trading House. Based on "Sasameyuki," the famous modern classic novel written by the great novelist Jun-ichiro Tanizaki, the play presents the legendary cherry blossom setting with the four kimono-clad beauties. The Special Projects Committee has reserved 20 of the best seats.

五月観劇会 明治座「細雪」（ささめゆき）

令和元年最初の観劇会は「細雪」。時代は昭和10年代。大阪・船場の木綿問屋蒔岡商店の四姉妹は日中戦争で時代が大きく変わろうとするのを感じながらも最後まで満開の紅枝垂桜のように美しく咲き誇ります。文豪谷崎潤一郎原作、菊田一夫脚色で力強くそれぞれの個性で生きる四姉妹は一路真輝（次女・幸子）、瀬名じゅん（三女・幸子）、水夏希（四女・妙子）のもと宝塚トップ・トリオと浅野ゆう子（長女・鶴子）。舞台一面に広がる枝垂れ桜と四人の着物姿には日本女性に生まれてよかったと何度見ても感動します。S席チケットと昼食（ビール、日本酒、ウーロン茶等1杯込）で会費1名15,900。
