Robert L. Freedman (Book & Lyrics) and Steven Lutvak (Music & Lyrics) created hilariously entertaining musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" which was heralded as "superbly crafted musical which restored our faith in musical comedy" by press on its opening on Broadway. It eventually won four Tony Awards in 2014.
The show takes place in Edwardian England. A poor young man Monty (Yuto Kakizawa, Wentz Eiji W-cast)was told his deceased mother was a heir to the D'ysquith family and he may inherit the wealth and castle though his order to the title was only eighth in order. How he murders eight other heirs?
In Japanese version, the legendary musical star Masachika Ichimura plays the victim of eight murders (men and women, young and old.) Japan's leading musical stars Sylvia Grab, Ema Miyazawa and Hitomi Harukaze will join Ichimura on these incidents.
