2024 New Year's Culture Night presents:
World-renowned Koto artist Fuyuki Enokido

Enokido is a graduate of the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and recipient of the Acanthus Music Award given to the top-performing students at graduation. She has also completed the graduate school music course at the university.
She began to study the KOTO from the age of 3 under her late great aunt Miko Kobashi (former professor at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, former counselor of Japan Sankyoku Association, Honorary Director of Koto Miyagi Association, and Director of Michiyo Miyagi Memorial Hall).
She performed solo on her first stage at the National Theater in Nagatacho.
Since her junior high school days, she has performed in more than 36 countries overseas, including New Zealand, Germany, Turkey, and France.
In 2012 she was appointed by the Commissioner of the Agency for Cultural Exchange Ambassador and helped in London with the bid for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. In 2016, she performed for the G7 leaders at the Ise-Shima Summit hosted by the Prime Minister. She also performed on the TOKYO 2020 traditional performing arts stage at the Rio de Janeiro Para Olympics, and in 2023 performed for the G7 leaders at the Hiroshima Summit social event hosted by the Prime Minister. It was the first overseas performance.
She currently serves as Corporate Auditor of Cultural Exchange Agency for Cultural Affairs, Toshima International Culture Art Special Ambassador’s Advisor, Green Sports Alliance Japan Advisor, and President of Sachi no Kai.Co.

榎戸 二幸 (えのきど ふゆき) 海外36カ国以上で活動する箏曲奏者家

東京芸術大学卒業・アカンサス音楽賞受賞。同大学大学院音楽研究科修了。
三歳より故・大叔母 小橋幹子(元東京芸術大学教授・社団法人日本三曲協会参与・箏曲宮城会名誉理事・宮城道雄記念館理事)に師事し、初舞台では、永田町にある国立劇場において独奏をした。中学生の頃からニュージーランドやドイツ、トルコ、フランスなど海外36カ国以上で公演を行った。2012年には、文化庁長官より平成24年度文化庁文化交流使を拝命し、ロンドン五輪2020年東京オリンピックパラリンピック招致活動に尽力。2016年には、総理主催・伊勢志摩サミットにてG7各国首脳陣へ謁見演奏、リオ・デ・ジャネイロ五輪パラにおいてTOKYO2020伝統芸能舞台において演奏、2023年総理主催・広島サミット社交行事においてG7各国首脳陣へ謁見演奏を行う等、国内外で活動中。
