Japanologist and media theorist Dr. Igor Prusa will discuss his book and give a presentation on the culture and communications choreography behind public apologies in Japan. Dr. Prusa has deeply analyzed the responses to big scandals including revelations of actress Noriko Sakai’s drug use, questionable donations received by former political leader Ichiro Ozawa and the accounting fraud uncovered at Olympus Corp.
Dr. Prusa will also take questions and sign copies of his book after the presentation.
