Speech: Recent testing in the nightlife districts of Tokyo have revealed record daily cases of coronavirus, predominantly among people in their 20s and 30s. The clusters prompted the city government to raise its coronavirus alert to the highest “red” level on July 15.

Our guests are uniquely qualified to speak about the challenges that nightlife workers face as they try to stay in business while avoiding infection.

A native of Saitama Prefecture and graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University, Kohga has been active in the hostess industry for 13 years and established the association in 2018.

Dr. Shinya Iwamuro is known as the Condom Master for his energetic promotion of sexual health in lectures, books, and television appearances. A graduate of Jichi Medical University, Dr. Iwamuro practices urology at Atsugi City Hospital and recently has been visiting nightlife spots in Shinjuku to educate on hygiene and infection control.
