Tokyo Comic Convention (Tokyo Comic Con) is said to be the world's largest pop culture event. This year it will be held at Makuhari Messe on December 1, 2 and 3 with the 'Godfather' of comic culture, Stan Lee, attending.

Comic Con goes back to 1970 with the San Diego Comic Con but the Tokyo event – the brainchild of Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak – is only in its second year. Tokyo Comic Con is a celebration of Japanese and American pop and comic culture.

Stan Lee, 94, is one of the giants of the comic book genre, and is the creator of Spiderman, X-Men and many other superheroes. He is MARVEL's honorary chairman and is Tokyo Comic Con's honorary ambassador.

Mitsuaki Munegumi, 64, is a former banker who is now Tokyo Comic Con's CEO. He runs a movie prop merchandise company called the Hollywood Collector's Gallery.
