Michael Fogarty, from Tennessee, toured the North and South Eastern USA as a keyboardist, singer with Rich Mountain Tower, Clifford Curry, and Major Lance, then moved to Italy and composed, recorded, and toured with Bobby Solo. It was there that he and Jeremy Spencer, (original Fleetwood Mac/Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) started a long relationship with Ahmet Ertegun of Atlantic Records. He now operates "infiniti' studio Chiba, and besides producing and composing has performed at most major hotels and lounges in Japan.
Michael first met session player Koji Tetsui, (University of North Texas College of Music) when he was the house bassist at Tableaux Lounge in Daikanyama. What started out as as a weekend gig stretched to a six night a week six month gig.
Expect a night of easy listening funky grooves and soulful ballads. Originals old and new and selected covers by Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Christopher Cross, Brooke Benton, Elton John, Babyface, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Otis Redding, jazz standards, and more.
