Canadian bassist Brent Nussey studied at Berkley College of Music in Boston and then lived in New York City, where he played with artists such as Diana Krall, James Williams, and Eddie Henderson. Since coming to Japan he has been playing with well-known Japanese artists such as jazz musicians Yoichi Kobayashi, Yoshihiro Arita, Hideaki Yoshioka, and Seiichi Nakamura, as well as classical musicians Shigenori Kudo, Mayo Amagai and Masahiro Saito, popular artists Kazuhiko Kato, Konosuke Sakazaki and Koichi “Ari” Matsuda. Brent has also worked with many visiting foreign players such as Lew Tabackin, Benny Powell, Sophie Milman and Nicole Henry.
