Derek Short is a well known jazz and funk 6 string bassist, composer and producer from Chicago. He has lived and worked in Tokyo for 20 years playing with many major artists and as a leader performing at clubs, events and hotels all over Japan. He has also released 4 solo CDs on both bass and saxophone.
