Rié FURUSE, has finally found her true identity within her bi-cultural world. Through the musical expression of her creations, together with her faithful musicians in Paris, Rié shares, in her latest recording “Semba” (2018), the essential essence of “Nipponese-Parisian” jazz. http://www.riefuruse.com
Utaco ICHISE (violinist) Furthermore, as an extension of her musical career, she has also expanded her field to acting and starred in a play and a movie. The play participated in the Festival d’avignon OFF (Avignon Festival), and was later selected for “The Best 100 Plays of the Year” by the newspaper, La Provence. The movie is now archived at the Cinémathèque Française, a French film organization.
Rié & Utaco, two Japanese musicians from different music fields, have met in Paris and been performing together since 5 years. They had a very successful Japan tour in 2018 with their group from Paris.
