Blues, Swing Guitarist
Guitarist and vocalist Spider Tetsu brought the house down during his debut at the FCCJ. Audience members rated him one of the best entertainers to ever grace Saturday Night Live! Spider started playing guitar at age 15, listening to Blues and Swing, and then lived in Chicago where he explored the Blues and played with many prominent Bluesmen, including Otis Rush. He currently performs with his Spider Walk Blues band around Tokyo and neighboring areas performing several nights a week. An outstanding vocalist and guitarist, and you never know what songs might pop up from his copious influences from Django Reinhardt to Willie Johnson & Howlin’ Wolf.
