Shinto inspired Pop and World Music
Singer, songwriter and Shinto priestess Suzue brings spiritual influences and concerns for nature and world peace to a contemporary popular music style. Suzue was born in Brazil and raised in Japan. She released her first album, Umashiashikabi, in 2002. She lived in New York as a goodwill ambassador priestess to promote Japanese Shinto culture, and performed at Carnegie Hall. Suzue sings about the relationship between nature and humans, as well as, the inner dimensions of human nature to kindle the appreciation for life. www.suzue.asia
