Meet a strange author
No one knows his real name or face, but Uketsu, who always wears a white mask, has become one of the most widely-read authors in Japan. His novel Strange Pictures has sold over 1.2 million. Ukestu, also a YouTuber, cartoonist, and musician, is a veritable social phenomenon in Japan. His novels and manga have now been translated into several languages in 30 countries.
In a rare press conference, Uketsu will explain how he creates and explain the success of his multimedia work.
