Celebrate the arrival of Fall at the FCCJ with the best shochus from across Kyushu.

Back again this year to take us ever deeper into its pleasures and mysteries are some of the best known shochu makers and fabled names like Beniotome Shuzou (Fukuoka), Ookuchi Shuzo (Kagoshima), Kirishima Shuzou (Miyazaki), Takahashi Shuzou (Kumamoto), and more.

Special guest will be renowned NY chef Marc Matsumoto, who will be on stage this evening with MC Christopher Pellegrini author of the Shochu Handbook.
Through lively visuals, blind tastings, quizzes, prizes and more ...the event promises to bring yet another evening to remember at the FCCJ for all aficionados and novices alike.

「九州の焼酎をおいしく味わう」
世界最大の蒸留所集積地である九州を国内展開とあわせ、海外市場に向けアピールいたします。
福岡県紅乙女酒造、鹿児島県大口酒造、宮崎県霧島酒造、熊本県高橋酒造をはじめ、九州各県から１0の蔵元が参集いたします。
「九州の焼酎をおいしく味わう」と題して、おいしい焼酎の飲み方をNYで有名な日系人シェフ、Marc Matsumoto氏と「THE SHOCHU HANDBOOK」著者クリストファー・ペレグリニ氏による対談と焼酎原料当てクイズ等、各種催しと焼酎によく合うおつまみをご用意し、皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。
