The Foreign Correspondent's Club of Japan has the pleasure of inviting its members and guests to a rare Cambodian night on the occasion of the first visit of Sacred Dancers of Angkor to Japan. Led by Her Royal Highness Princess Buppha Devi, their patron, the dancers and musicians come from the world heritage area. The young artists have attained incredibly high level of dance performance through hours of daily practices. They will present fantastically spiritual dances of their motherland.

アンコール聖舞踊団の来訪とクメール料理

日本外国特派員協会は、きたる3月30日午後6時半から『カンボジアの夕べ』を開催します。'世界遺産アンコールワット遺跡' の神々に捧げる、清楚で息をのむほどの高い伝統舞踊技術を引き継ぐ「アンコール聖舞踊団」が3月下旬に初来日し、舞踊とカンボジア料理で皆さまをおもてなし致します。カンボジアの伝統舞踊の第一人者であるボッパデヴィ王女が、団の名誉総裁として、ともに来日します。
今回の「アンコール聖舞踊団」の来日は、アンコール遺跡の郊外に住む貧しい村々の青少年の自立支援の育成も大きな目的として意義深いものです。舞踊団のことは次をクリックしてご覧ください。
