Sex discrimation at the 2020 Olympic Golf Tournament venue
Languge: The speech and Q&A will be in Japanese with English.
The organisers of Japan's Olympics have chosen the Kasumigaseki Country Club as the venue for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Golf Games. But it's another controversial choice. A venerable exclusive private club with a distinguished membership, the Club bans regular membership for women.
The Japan Golf Council say they sent a letter to Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, demanding the venue be changed.
Eiko Oya, Chairwoman of Japan Golf Council will come to the Club to discuss the issue together with Yutaka Morohoshi, Masayuki Tamaki, Vice Chairmen and other committee members.
Please reserve in advance, 3211-3161 or on the website (still & TV cameras inclusive). Reservations and cancellations are not complete without confirmation.
