North Korea and the Current Situation of Guam
Language: The speech and Q & A will be in English
North Korea has threatened to send missiles over Japan in the direction of Guam, threatening the security and safety of the Pacific islanders and potentially triggering a large military conflict. It also threatens the island’s economy, which depends significantly on the thousands of tourists, particularly Japanese tourists, who visit year-round.
Raymond S. Tenorio, the Lieutenant Governor of Guam, and Jon Nathan P. Denight, the President & CEO of the Guam Visitors Bureau, will come to the Club to talk about the island's reaction and security, the current situation there and future prospects.
Please reserve in advance, 3211-3161 or on the website (still & TV cameras inclusive). Reservations and cancellations are not complete without confirmation.
