The FCCJ Presents An English Serenade Dinner-Concert featuring the Music of the Tokyo Sinfonia

This gorgeous evening - menu and music - is served live, up close and in person for you, by Robert Rÿker and the strings of the Tokyo Sinfonia. Favorite selections by Gustav Holst, Arthur Sullivan, Ralph Vaughan Williams and George Frideric Handel are tastefully interspersed between the mouth-watering courses graciously served to you and your guests at the tables.
FCCJ Executive Chef Otake and his team start the evening off with a tasty aperitif of Seafood Marinade English Garden Salad. The Tokyo Sinfonia then takes the stage with Holst’s light-hearted Suite de Ballet.
The main course is our chef’s delicious Roast Breast of Chicken with Truffle Sauce and Yorkshire Pudding. And for the digestion: Vaughan Williams’ soaring violin solo, The Lark Ascending.
Custard Pudding with Seasonal Fruit is a timeless English dessert. Our musical finale is Sullivan’s light-hearted Masquerade Dances.
