Product, Space and Visual Design. Creative Director and Journalist.

Based in Milan, we do product design and space design in Italy, Paris, Germany and Japan. The product was marketed by Rosenthal (Germany) as the only Japanese designer.

The exhibition started with the design of the Japanese booth at MIDO (Internazionale Eyewear Fair) in 1997, and in particular the Salone del Milano has visited and participated every time since 1987 to date. The organizer is Cosmit Co., Ltd. (currently FLA Eventi) Italy. I have been in charge of public relations for over 10 years, since 2005.

At Fuori Salone (Milano Design Week), we did Lexus in 2005 and since then we have planned, designed, set up and managed exhibitions of Japanese companies such as Okamura, TOTO, Panasonic, Docomo and Mitsui Fudosan, together with our partner companies in Tokyo. On the contrary, we also support the exhibitions of Italian companies such as MISSONI and TOD'S in Japan.

For the exchange between Japan and Italy, we are working on Mi Japan, the first Japanese festival in Milan that intends to tell Japan in an authentic way.

In addition to product design and space design, please contact us if you want to exhibit in Milan.

As a journalist, he has been a full member of the Club of Foreign Correspondents of Milan for more than 20 years and spreads information focused on design, architecture and art, such as Nikkei Design, JDN and INTERNI, DOMUS etc.

Hersey Shiga Global

Originally from Texas, I have spent the majority of my time in Tokyo since 2018. I hold an M.S. in International Agricultural Development & Public Policy from the University of Tokyo and a B.A. in Economic History from Vanderbilt University.

As VP at a Japan-based agricultural biotechnology and trading firm, my work is to develop and commercialize high-nutrition, climate-resilient crops via new genomic techniques such as CRISPR-Cas9. On the side, I am involved with PR and marketing projects for local governments, hotels, ski resorts, and consumer brands. I also contribute to Hersey Shiga Media conducting interviews with the diplomatic corps in Tokyo.

In my free time I love to travel and enjoy the beautiful nature and scenery of Japan — snowboarding and onsen in winter, SCUBA/freediving and surfing in summer.

I’m eager to meet fellow FCCJ members to share ideas on sustainable development and stewardship of natural resources and discuss the intersection of creativity and business in media, design, fashion, and art.
